History
DesignPlex Biomedical was formed in 2015 to fill a gap in Medical Device Development for early stage implanted blood pumps, artificial hearts and peripheral equipment. Since that time, DesignPlex has expanded its scope to include optogenetics for neuromodulation, medication dosing, reliability test fixtures, fat grafting, and most recently, face shields, face masks, ventilators, and unique anti-microbial coatings to combat COVID-19. DesignPlex is now ISO 13485:2016 certified for design and contract manufacturing.
